VEC Holds Annual Meeting; Membership Elects Board Members, Celebrates 80 Years

Jeffersonville, VT- Vermont Electric Co-op (VEC) held its annual meeting Saturday, May 12 at Smugglers’ Notch Resort, and members elected directors to the board, heard updates from VEC staff, checked out a vendor showcase, and marked VEC’s 80th year, among other things. Approximately 200 members attended.

Johnson, VT- Vermont Electric Co-op (VEC) will be offering a complimentary breakfast, prizes and the opportunity to learn about developments in the Vermont electricity sector at its annual meeting the morning of May 12 at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. There will be an exhibitor’s showcase and members will also have a final opportunity to vote in VEC’s 2018 director election, and the results will be announced.

Johnson, VT - A new program offering over 300 young trees at no cost to Vermont Electric Co-op members for planting this spring as an energy-saving measure has seen keen interest, and VEC is urging members who are interested in a tree to reserve one soon.

Johnson, VT – For the fourth time in about a month, crews from the Vermont Electric Co-op (VEC) have packed up and headed out to help other utilities restore power after a windstorm whipped through Vermont Wednesday night.
