VEC Announces Distribution of $1,000,000 in Patronage Capital to Member-Owners in 2017

Johnson, VT- Vermont Electric Cooperative (VEC) has announced a distribution of $1,000,000 in patronage capital funds. This will be the fifth consecutive year that VEC members have received a patronage capital distribution with a total distribution of $3,350,000 in patronage capital dollars to active and former members over those five years.

Vermont Electric Cooperative Announces Jake Brown joining Community Relations Team

VEC Powers and Empowers Members' Communities: VEC Community Fund Announces 2nd Quarter Grant Awards of $1,650

Johnson, VT- The VEC Community Fund is a Vermont Electric Cooperative program strengthening member communities by supporting organizations promoting community development and economic security. Funds are allocated on a quarterly basis, and the four areas of focus are: Economic Security, Energy Education, Emergency/Disaster Relief, and Community Development.

 

VEC Issues a Peak Alert. Members Encouraged to Conserve Energy

Johnson, VT- Vermont Electric Cooperative (VEC) is encouraging members to conserve energy on Wednesday, July 19, Thursday July 20, and Friday July 21, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. This is when demand for electricity is expected to spike as a result of high temperatures throughout New England.

VEC Announces Partnership with Nissan to Offer a $10,000 Rebate on the 2017 Nissan Leaf

Johnson, VT- Vermont Electric Cooperative (VEC) is pleased to announce, in partnership with Nissan, that a $10,000 rebate is available to VEC members on the purchase of a new 2017 Nissan LEAF.  The 2017 Nissan LEAF is as all-electric vehicle with a range of up to 107 miles. This rebate is available in addition to the previously announced $250 bill credit for VEC members who purchase an electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.
