VEC's strategic plan helps provide direction and focus for all  employees, contractors and vendors. It points to specific results to be achieved and establishes a course of action for achieving them resulting in alignment and focus. Vermont Electric Cooperative began strategic planning in 2008 and conducts strategic planning annually. The VEC Board of Directors approves the plan each year and recently approved our 2013 strategic plan.
