On October 20, 2010, VEC employees along with our friends at Johnson State College hosted our annual fall Blood Drive. 

The co-sponsored drive netted 133 productive units of blood making this the most productive fall drive for Johnson since 1998. In all there were 140 presenting donors, with 34 first time donors. The fall drive set a twelve-year high for Johnson --and we won't stop here! 

The record for JSC is 180 productive units, set back in October, 1986.  Since each unit of blood has the potential to help save three lives, VEC and JSC will join forces again in the spring of 2011 in effort to break that all time record of 180 units! We encourage all members of the community to come out and help us achieve our goal.
